Tubing Chiang Mai is operated by Eco Quest Travel, a licensed tour operator (TAT licence no. 23/03937) based in Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai. We’re a small family business, and we treat your information the way we’d want ours treated: we collect only what we need to run your tour, we never sell it, and we don’t send marketing you didn’t ask for.

1. What we collect, and why

• Booking details — your name, email, phone number, party size and pickup hotel. We need these to confirm your booking, arrange your pickup and run the tour safely.
• Payment — card payments on this website are processed by our booking system (Bokun) and its payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.
• Messages — if you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
• Health information you volunteer — for example if you tell us about a condition before booking, or on the medical form at check-in. We use it only for your safety on the day.

2. Where your data lives

• Bookings made on this website are stored in Bokun (our booking engine) with payment via Stripe.
• Bookings made through GetYourGuide, Viator, Klook, KKday or another platform are held by that platform under its own privacy policy — we receive the details needed to run your tour.
• Emails live in our business mailbox; WhatsApp messages in our business WhatsApp.

3. Who we share it with

• Our drivers and guides see your name, party size and pickup point — nothing else.
• Our service providers above (Bokun, Stripe, the booking platforms) process data to deliver your booking.
• We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

4. Cookies

This site uses a small number of functional cookies — for example to remember your currency choice. We do not run advertising trackers.

5. How long we keep it

Booking records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal requirements in Thailand, then deleted. Conversations are kept while they’re useful for helping you, then cleaned up.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@tubingchiangmai.com and we’ll sort it out — a real person reads that inbox.
