Tubing Chiang Mai

Tubing Chiang Mai has the following policies in place for cancellations, transfers, trip deposit, and payment, the release of liability form, and restrictions:

Cancellations: No refund will be given for cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour.

Transfers: There will be no additional charge for switching to another program with at least 30 days' notice. For transfers with less than 14 days' notice, a 20% fee will be charged. No transfers will be carried over into the next calendar year.

Trip Deposit and Payment: Your trip deposit must be received within 7 days of making your reservation, and full payment must be received 30 days prior to the trip date.

Release of Liability Form: Participants will be required to sign a release of liability and medical history form upon arrival. If anyone is seen or suspected of using illegal substances before the trip, that person will not be allowed to go on the trip and will not be given a refund or credit.

Restrictions: The river tubing tour (3.5 km) is open to participants who are 2 years or older and can swim. The maximum weight is 130 kg. Participants should be in reasonable physical condition and should not have any heart, back, or neck conditions, broken bones, or be pregnant. If you have any doubts, you should contact the company for clarification.

FAQ

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

All persons must be 5 years of age or older.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and PayPal.
HOW COLD IS THE WATER?

Approximately 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 30 degrees Celsius.
DO YOU NEED TO BE IN SHAPE FOR THIS ACTIVITY?

Moderate physical condition is required for River tubing and Trekking; you should be able to climb two flights of stairs without stopping for a rest. If you have disabilities or cannot meet the physical requirement above, we can work to accommodate your needs.
HOW LONG IS THE FLOAT DOWN THE RIVER?

The 3 mile float take between 1.5-2 hours depending on river flow rate.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Most of our customers wear swimsuits. However, any comfortable clothes that can get wet will work. We also recommend flip flops or river shoes.
ARE FOOD AND DRINK ALLOWED ON THE RIVER?

Yes. Food and drinks are allowed to be brought on the river. That being said, no glass or styrofoam is allowed. Rule of thumb: What goes on the river must come off the river.
IS THERE WILDLIFE ON THE RIVER?

Yes. You will see fish, turtles, and birds on the river. These are wild animals so please be sure to leave them alone and observe from a distance. You will see the elephant (not wildlife)
ARE THERE ANY RAPIDS?

Yes. It is a very small and relaxing, lazy river float.
DO YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM?

Ability to swim is not a necessity. Life jackets are provided on each tube.
